The ANZ GAYTM's have been happening for many years now and are built by my friends over at Alien Proof Construction. This year I was asked to build a LED sequencer and audio trigger and ended up working on the build and install.

I've been working on some LED lighting for brickman, building custom LED lighting solutions for large LEGO models. For the new Brickman Awesome show.

I've installed lights in the following models

• Space Launch System
• Eiffel Tower
• DeLorean
• Harley Davidson
• Ice Breaker

Most of the lighting involves a mix of WS2812 addressable LED's and Cree XML-2 power LED's.

While most of the lights are static the DeLorean features blinking indicators and the Space Launch System has a full animated sound and lights show.

I've been working with the MakeMob collective on building the Utility Kinetic Insect (UKI). Ive been laying out and soldering the LED strip to the wings and working on the wiring and installation on the leg lights. I've also been involved in performing, crewing and running the lights on UKI at festivals and events.
